I could reproduce it following the steps in the bug description: - Visit https://edge.launchpad.net/~gwibber-team/+archive/ppa - It contains the following paragraph: "Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:gwibber-team/ppa to your system's Software Sources. Not using Ubuntu 9.10 (karmic)?" - As I'm on karmic and want to add this PPA, I open System→Adminstration→System Sources and add it like suggested by entering "ppa:gwibber-team/ppa" into the Add box. This produces an apt line for karmic which then fails on reloading the index files as this PPA doesn't support karmic. So LP shouldn't show me instructions how to add this PPA to my system, if the PPA doesn't support the Ubuntu version LP detected. -- Cannot load gwibber PPA https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/444988 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
