Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubiquity
After writing "0"s to the hard drive I tried to install from a CD that I built from download. Partitioned the drive into 3 partitions. #1 was formated and mounted to / #2 was formated and mounted to /home both were 4Gig. #3 was formated and mounted as swap and was about 3.5Gig. Don't know exactly where the crash happened because I walked away from the PC. Here's the info from the crash message: We're sorry; the installer crashed. Please file a new bug report at https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+filebug (do not attach your details to any existing bug) and a developer will attend to the problem as soon as possible.
