Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: pulseaudio
I just got an XPS M1330 and while playing some music in totem i noticed
sound kept stopping. I was playing over the network so figured it was a
network problem but changing the volume made the music come back. Then i
noticed that leaving Sound Preferences open "fixes" it. After 3 or so
songs i closed Sound Preferences, and the sound went again.
This hurts totem and flash videos in firefox (on their own and both
playing at once). I havent tested any other apps (still quite a fresh
karmic setup). The machine has been through a few suspend cycles but
everything else seems to be intact.
