Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

The suspend functionality does not work on the PC (DELL inspiron 531)
this used to work in the Jaunty release. However after update to Karmic
the PC does not suspend, on forcing suspend or when the system is left
idle for the configured suspend timeout the montior goes blank and the
system does not respond anymore to any keyboard or mouse events. A
restart is required to bring the PC back.

Description:    Ubuntu 9.10
Release:        9.10

Expectation: PC should suspend after idle time and resume when detecting
keyboard or mouse event even when running on AC

What's happenning : The PC does not respond any more and a restart is
required.

** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Package changed: ubuntuone-client (Ubuntu) => gnome-power-manager
(Ubuntu)
