I.m not very computer literate. At least with Ubuntu. Most of the
bug information goes over my head. There seems to be a thousand
solutions to one problem. I didn't have this problem with 9.04.

then speak into the microphone. After a few seconds, your speech will be played
back to you.

upgrade to9.10 from 9.04 no sound . Booted from live CD and booted from
upgrade installation and neither worked. Had sound in 9.04
