Actually, some apps are rendering correctly, and some aren't. Buggy apps are :
gimp, eog (aka gnome image viewer), f-spot and MS Paint
You shouldn't use eog or f-spot to read this file, since there are
showing only the first page of your multi-page document.
Apps you can use to see this documents correctly are :
evince and okular (MS viewer renders the same way, but shows only the first
page).
Gimp open your doc like a multipage, but image dimensions are inverted.
Since gimp depends on libtiff4, I assume the issue comes from there.
