** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: software-center

I am looking for a new application for installation. In the background
an application is being installed. At a certain moment in time, I
suspect when the installation in the background is terminated, the
display of installable applications suddenly changes, i.e. the list of
displayed applications jumps back to the first application in alphabetic
order. This is a nuisance from a gui perspective, since I have to scroll
  all the way down again.

It's not a big big deal, but the experience from a end-user perspective
would be much better if this didn't happen.

- Wishlist: It would be great if users could rate the applications in the
- software centre.
