Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

happens with different shells (bash, zsh)...
happens with keyboard short cuts and as well when clicking the menu entry...

Action:

Zoom out to lowest zoom level with either shortcuts (CTRL--) or menu
entry; the ntry to reset zoom with either CTRL-0 shortcut or appropriate
menu item.

Expected behaviour:

Zoom out, then jump back to original zoom level with no complications

Experienced behaviour:

GNOME terminal window or tab disappears when zoom level is to be reset,
but thread and subprocesses (e.g. shell, etc.) keep running fine.
