I have the latest version of Ubuntu Moblin Remix installed on my HP Mini
1000. I tried muting and disabling all sounds and setting the volume to
0 and I still get the annoying sound when I shutdown or reboot. I
checked gconf-editor:
/desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/bell_mode
This is already set to off. Where could this sound possibly be coming
from and how do I get rid of it?
