Hi when I decieded to report this 'problem' - this bug seemed the most appropriate place
When I try to open Places -> Home nautilus doesn't start instead Thunar starts. I have upgraded to 9.10; The home folder has been around since 8.04 (maybe earlier) j...@brownie-safe-config:~$ nautilus -c (nautilus:5967): Eel-CRITICAL **: eel_preferences_get_boolean: assertion `preferences_is_initialized ()' failed running nautilus_self_check_file_utilities running nautilus_self_check_file_operations running nautilus_self_check_directory running nautilus_self_check_file running nautilus_self_check_icon_container running nautilus_self_check_file_utilities running nautilus_self_check_file_operations running nautilus_self_check_directory running nautilus_self_check_file running nautilus_self_check_icon_container I've tried the following the help suggested @ https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+question/49943 with no luck. When I run nautilus from the terminal I get a Eel-CRITICAL error (no idea what it means) it suggested to me that the problem is a bug of some sort - probably with some config in my home folder as my wifes user account is working fine Going to convert this back to a bug for now appologies is this isn't correct -- Places->Home Folder opens F-spot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/401411 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
