Hello!

I had a bit of sleep, and am ready for anything! (exaggeration)

What you suggest sounds easy, so I will try to back up my files, which
is the daunting thing. I think I know someone who can give me some
coaching and assistance with putting my files on the thumb drive, so I
will do what you suggest in this "Synaptics Package Manager" fashion as
soon as my files are on the thumb drive. I think I should be able to
manage that within the next few days, and will get back to you as soon
as I've tried it.

Thank you!

Doris
