I am also experiencing this bug, in Karmic Koala. I currently have 5 uninterruptible evince processes. It says they're stuck with waiting channel "real_lookup".
I can not get rid of these processes without logging out/in or rebooting (both unacceptable when other running tasks need to stay running).
