Well, that was quick. It just froze again. And this time with 100% cpu taken by X.
I was able to log in from another computer using ssh. That's how I got the top log. On the frozen computer, all I could do was to move the mouse pointer. No response from keyboard whatsoever. However, over ssh everything seemed to go quite smoothly... Strange!
