At the moment libwnck does not suppor compiz' concept of viewports (one
workspace split across many viewports). Only metacity's workspace-concept is
supported (multiple workspaces). In order to increase the wm-abstraction value
of libwnck, which is its main purpose of existence imo, is to add the ability
to deal with compiz' viewports and metacity's workspaces in a transparent
fashion for application developers using libwnck.
