I can confirm this issue. I'm having exactly the same problem. Files
deleted from network shares mounted as CIFS (with pam_mount) are not
visible in the trash. The only way to get the space back is to display
hidden folders, and manually empty the .trash-uid folder.

It's quite annoying.
