As of now this is a lazy effort - the summary being all the information
I've got just atm! Presuming I get said crash report again next time I
load the live cd (ubu 9.10, amd64 desktop edition), I'll note the
specifics of the error and report back. As things stand I'm currently
running firefox with >10 open tabs and have not encountered any problems
an hour or more after the prophecy of impending doom ("serious kernel
instability" or such, from memory) was issued by the crash reporter...
[edit: I've obviously spent way too long off in M$ land - it really
shouldn't have come as any surprise to see all of the information I'd
intended to collect, and then some, auto-attached below - cheers to
common sense :) ) ]
