Binary package hint: totem-gstreamer
Upgrading to 9.10 Karmic has turned the package totem-xine into a
transitional or dummy package. This is a pity because it was capable of
displaying subtitles in the black border area around a widescreen video,
when the video was played on a classic 4:3 monitor.
Totem-gstreamer is not capable of doing this, which is a real bummer.
Therefore I hope this bug-report will inspire somebody to implement the
missing behaviour which seems not (too) difficult to me.
