Please install the packages "libglib2.0-dbg" and "libgnutls26-dbg" and try to obtain a backtrace following the instructions at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash and upload the backtrace (as an attachment) to the bug report (this is because of some missing debug symbols in the current trace).
Furthermore it would be good if you got the chance to test this with the current version of Ubuntu (9.10), since it's often unlikely that a bug gets fixed in an older version, if it is not a security issue.
