I can confirm the problem with Ubuntu 9.10 and my Photosmart 7450. Under Windows, the printer works fine.Under Ubuntu the printer seems to be detected and installed correcttly, however I cannot print anything. The task is shown in the printer queue, but its status is shown as "angehalten" (German for stopped) and changing the status manually does not produce any result. The problem solver reports "communication problems". The printer seems "locked up" so badly, it sometimes even stops the computer during the boot sequence, so I have to unplug its power supply.
I have downloaded and installed the latest hplips-package, but that didn't change anything. -- hp photosmart 7450 communication problems. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/241781 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
