This is likely due to a corrupted archive. Could you please open a terminal (
Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal ) and run the following commands:
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install --reinstall libevdocument1 libevview1 evince
firefox-3.5-branding xulrunner-1.9.1-gnome-support
And tell us if it helps. thanks.
