I am now on Kubuntu karmic and still can't play video (but can still hear the
sound from them)
I just tried playing an mpg file in dragon but it would not work despite
gstreamer good bad ugly ffmpg and base being installed but at least dragon
prompted me to install some extra codecs. I did but although dragon now plays
the video impress still does not.
To set this bug as 'won't fix' seems a cop out
Video does not work
OOO does not tell you why it does not work or prompt you to do anything to fix
it. If there is something OOO needs to play video the very least that could be
considered a fix for this bug is to prompt the user to install that missing
something (and warn if there are patent issues etc if necessary).
If dragon can do it why can't OOO?
