I've just encountered this same problem after upgrading from jaunty to karmic.
/usr/lib/xorg/modules/libglx.so was left pointing at a non-existent /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so.180.44 As before the fix was: sudo rm /usr/lib/xorg/modules/libglx.so sudo ln -s /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so.185.18.36 /usr/lib/xorg/modules/libglx.so -- OpenGL/GLX not working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/354484 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
