Hi Stefan, I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you. The log files don't give me many clues as to what is going on. This can often mean NetworkManager is not being used. Do you know if you're using NetworkManager?
For contacts syncing in Evolution, have you tried following the steps in this tutorial? http://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuOne/Tutorials/Contacts If you have and continue to have problems syncing contacts with Ubuntu One, please file a new bug and attach the following log file to the bug: ~/.cache/desktop-couch/log/desktop-couch-replication.log Note that attaching desktop-couch-replication.log will show information about what you are attempting to sync with Ubuntu One.
