Binary package hint: modemmanager
Hi,
modem-manager in Ubuntu 9.10 does not seem to recognize my pcmcia card
correctly when inserted "hot swap".
=> so network manager does not show it
=> I cannot connect.
Simple workaround:
================
$ sudo killall modem-manager
The modem-manager is restarted automatically and detects the inserted card
correctly.
lspci card info: "Network controller: Option N.V. Qualcomm MSM6275 UMTS
chip" (0280: 1931:000c)

Expect broadband device detected on hot insert also.
Does not work in karmic.
