Binary package hint: dosfstools
I tried to copy /lib/modules/2.6.20-8-generic to my pen drive by means
of nautilus. It told me (in spanish):
Ya existe un archivo llamado «ipt_ecn.ko». ¿Desea reemplazarlo?
El archivo ya existe en «netfilter». Reemplazarlo sobreescribirá su contenido.
The translation of this message is:
"ipt_ecn.ko" already exists a called file. It wishes to replace it?
The file already exists in "netfilter". To replace it will sobrewrite its
content.
I chose "Discard" several times (of different files).
Later, nautilus told me (in spanish):
Error «Operación no permitida» al copiar «/lib/modules...eneric/build».
¿Desea continuar?
The translation of this message is:
Error «Operation nonallowed» when copying «/lib/modules...eneric/build».
It wishes to continue?
I chose "Discard" again. Later, I tried to delete the copied files
(/media/disk/2.6.20-8-generic), nautilus told me that it happened an
error and dosfsck crashed.
I was not able to delete the folder and had to erase the partition and
to return it to create. Later, I copied the files with the command 'cp -
d - R /lib/modules/2.6.20-8-generic/ /media/disk' without problems.
