Hi Patrick, I have set up the launchpad ppa and updated to the most recent as at Aust EDT 20 Nov 2009 6pm. I have compiled and installed the latest kernel module from Sierra 1.7.2 with debug turned on. Rebooted to be absolutely sure and then tried again.
Still not working! Attached is the syslog covering most (I think) of the relevant output. Let me know if I can do anything else - although I am travelling a fair amount at the moment so difficult to find appropriate opportunities to work on this. Having to work through my Windows partition for 3G at the moment - very depressing.
