Binary package hint: audacious-plugins
The icecast output plugin does not behave nicely when it is closed and reopened
quickly, which happens when the next song starts playing. To alleviate this, I
can run it as an effect plugin or through the crossfade plugin.
However, when I run it in this configuration, the icecast stream will only have
the metadata for the first song that plays, and it does not update the metadata
to any consecutive songs.
>From tracing the code, I can see that the FileWriter plugin is responsible for
>setting the Vorbis comments. Because the Icecast plugin never reinits the
