Hi Jack, So far we've had no reports of problems upgrading Spanish desktops. Therefore, we need some more details in order to track down this particular issue. Would you mind answering the following questions:
1) Could you paste the output of the following command: dpkg -s language-pack-gnome-es language-pack-es | grep ^Status: You can copy and paste this command on a terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal) and copy and paste the output in your next comment on this bug 2) When you start the language selector (System > Administration > Language Support): * Do you get a dialog telling you that the language support is not fully installed? * When you click on the "Add/Remove languages" button, is Spanish marked as installed? * If not, what happens when you install Spanish?
