The problem is different: the wireless always starts as disabled, and to enable it I have to toggle the switch. The strange thing is that the switch has a "on" and "off" position, and if I start ubuntu with "on" I have to switch it "off" to enable wireless. On the contrary, if I start with "off" I have to switch it "on"
What's more strange is that I have 2 ubuntu karmic installations (both with karmic-* updates enabled), and this problem appears only with one of the 2. -- DELL: wireless deactivated unless I enable the hardware switch button (READ WELL) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/485454 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
