Hello David, First of all, thanks for your work on this driver, I was almost ready to go out and buy an USB wireless adapter.
However, I am still running into some problems when using it. With the rtl8192se_linux_2.6.0010.1113.2009 driver I would get the "DMA: Out of SW-IOMMU space" error. After patching it with rtl8192se_1116 this problem seems to be gone but the connection drops and reconnects several times a minute as you can see from the attached log file. I have a Toshiba Satellite A505-S6986. The wireless card is recognized by Windows as a R8192SE and by lspci as: 03:00.0 Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. Device 8172 (rev 10) Let me know if you need anything else and I will happily provide it. Thanks, Manuel ** Attachment added: "r8192se_patch_1116.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/35978682/r8192se_patch_1116.log -- Realtek RTL8192SE WLAN Card Fails to work on Medion Akoya E1312 Netbook https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/401126 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
