Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: hal-info
I am unable to get my monitor to restore when resuming from a suspend to
RAM.
The monitor is black as if dpms has turned it off.
I am able to suspend in single user mode. When it returns I can type
commands but see nothing as the monitor is black. I've tried typing
"vbetool dpms on" after resuming, but that does not wakeup the screen.
I've tried numerous variations on the pm-suspend quirks and nothing
changes. I've also tried a rc 2.6.32 kernel (as shown in the info
here). But this problem was mainly investigated in 2.6.31-15-generic.
