Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

I had tried authorizing a machine using the bundled stable client, beta
and nightly packages. In each case, the applet would not launch and a
manual u1sync --authorize would hang endlessly. From time to time, the
log would show:

2009-11-24 15:37:44,304 - ubuntuone.SyncDaemon.DBus - ERROR - Can't get the
auth token
Traceback (most recent call last):

NoAccessToken: No access token found.

However, once I disabled the proxy setting for https in gnome's "Network
proxy" tool, I could authorize the machine. (My machine can only connect
to http using a proxy, but the firewall of my corporate network allows
non-proxy https requests.) Now u1 seems to be both syncing and
authorizing correctly.

Attached logs are recent, since I repeatedly wiped all cache directories
etc in my attempts to get u1 to work.
