** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: nautilus

Before rebooting I had my system updated with the new kernel. There was
also a question if I want to keep the menu.lst that I have. I have a
dedicated grub partition with grub 1 so I didn't install a new menu.lst.
Later, when I tried to start the Synaptic Package Manager, an error
message came up asking me to execute this: "sudo dpkg --configure -a".
This time I had again a message asking if I want to create menu.lst.
This time I answered yes and there was created a new menu.lst in my
/boot/grub dir without affecting my normal boot directory which is on an
  other partition.

- After all these I rebooted my system and after loging in I saw what you can
see in the screenshot attached. When I try to open my home folder, there is a
little indicator on my palel (like a minimized window) where it says "Opening
rodger" but when this dissappeares, nothing happens...
- Also, it seems like an ext3 partition that I have, is inaccessible and that
is the reason for having the two "lost" icons on my up panel where I have two
applications whose icons are located in the partition I refered to previously.

I don't know how to reproduce the problem and the truth is that for the
moment I just want to get rid of it so that I can use my system again. I
hope that the next time I reboot everything works ok again. If somebody
else has the same problem, please give some extra information and I'll
do the same answering in any relevant question.
