I have the same problem, although in my case, it happens at EVERY boot. I get the "One or more mounts in /etc/fstab cannot yet be mounted" with several line of "waiting" (one for each partition at least), exactly like peterzay described.
In my optinion, it is a bug for two reasons: 1) The information in /etc/fstab is correct, i.e. the same as the output of a "blkid" command. 2) By hitting ESC, you access the recovery shell logged as a root... which seems to me like a big security problem... So yes, if no one does anything, you eventually boot, but that's not what is supposed to happen. -- Mounts in /etc/fstab cannot yet be mounted https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/483205 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
