Looking at Xorg.0.log, it seems that the
EDID_QUIRK_DETAILED_USE_MAXIMUM_SIZE quirk ('Detailed timing descriptors
have bogus size values, so just take the maximum size and use that.')
applies.

That quirk is already implemented in drm_edid.c both in the linus tree
and in the ubuntu tree, and in both cases it is used for monitor "LPL",
0.
