I'm sorry for the long delay in getting back with you. Can you try the
following and let me know the results?
1) Quit the Ubuntu One client
2) Applications->Accessories->Terminal, then run:
ubuntuone-client-applet
(report any output from that command above)
killall ubuntuone-client-applet ubuntuone-syncdaemon
rm -rf ~/.local/share/ubuntuone
ubuntuone-client-applet
3) Are you behind a proxy server?
