I do NOT get ANY Ubuntu indication or ANY Firefox indication - it just goes INSTANTLY to the desktop; no notes, no crash indication no bells or whistles except the occasional Firefox "oops we are embarassed... do you want to start a new session or restart the old one"...
What does Apport have to do with ANYTHING in this bug - and if it's got "fingers" into Firefox, I need to know, to assist in debugging!
