Binary package hint: python2.5-doc
After upgrading from jaunty to karmic, the following Info entries:
Python
* Python2.5-api: (python2.5-api). Python/C 2.5 API Reference Manual
* Python2.5-dist: (python2.5-dist). Distributing Python Modules (2.5)
* Python2.5-ext: (python2.5-ext). Extending & Embedding Python 2.5
* Python2.5-lib: (python2.5-lib). Python 2.5 Library Reference
* Python2.5-ref: (python2.5-ref). Python 2.5 Reference Manual
* Python2.5-tut: (python2.5-tut). Python 2.5 Tutorial
have disappeared from the system Info directory (/usr/share/info/dir).
Trying to re-install the package, shows several install-info warning
messages:
$ sudo apt-get -y --reinstall install python2.5-doc
(...)
