Same problem (almost) using 9.10 with Swedish localization. Trying to
export an OpenVPN profile from nm-connection-editor gives me a friendly
error popup after chosing where to save the file (it defaults to
somewhere in /dev where I obviously can not save it (and the file is not
saved, tried /home/my_user/, usb drive, and sudoing into nm-connection-
editor and trying to save from there). I also tried using the option to
make the VPN profile available for all users, also while sudoing, same
error.

I had this same trouble using 9.04 and 8.10.
