I am totally lost with this bug, as I have three machines with fresh installs of Ubuntu Karmic, and one fresh install of Ubuntu Jaunty upgraded to Karmic. I have the bug on the upgraded machine and one fresh install, and on the other two fresh installs, it all works perfectly.
