If so, please, check your Dpkg log, where I can notice following:
Failed to process /etc/kernel/prerm.d at
/var/lib/dpkg/info/linux-image-2.6.28-11-generic.prerm line 267.
dpkg: error processing linux-image-2.6.28-11-generic (--remove):
subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 2
Which seems to be quite similar to this bug #350413.
Please check that and come back with feedback.
