I was trying to install 9.10 on a Toshiba Satellite with a new hard
disk. I used PMagic 4.5 to copy Vista from the original hd and then
copied all the Linux partitions from another hd. Since the Lx hd already
had 9.10 but would not boot, I thought I would make a partition with
7.04 and data into home without formating the hd. The window locked up
and would not let me do anything. It would not respond to forward, back,
quit, delete, change, revert, or even to the close window . But other
windows continued to work.

I moved forward by hitting the - button and getting another window and
having the system rescan for partitions.
