Ntfs-3g is not a kernel module and therefore cannot be "build into" the
kernel but instead uses a mechanism known as "Filesystem in Userspace"
provided by the 'fuse' module (which is enabled by default in ubuntu
kernels).

Ntfs-3g is available in both 6.10 and 7.04 as a separately installable
package.
