I made an initial attempt to specify what should happen a few months
ago: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SoftwareCenter#cancel-bar
It's not very good, though. I need to figure out some other way that (a)
lets you cancel tasks that haven't started changing files yet, and (b)
doesn't involve an alert.
