I can confirm this on both Ubuntu Karmic and Linux Mint Helena. If I set "Application Font" to ANY size with a decimal point in it, such as 13.5, the NotifyOSD messages become extremely small and unreadable.
Size 10, messages look like size 10, nice and readable. Size 10.5, messages are almost impossible to read. Size 13, messages look like size 13, very large. Size 13.5, messages are almost impossible to read. Size 14, messages look like size 14, very large. Size 14.5, messages are almost impossible to read. Sometimes I want to use a font size in between two whole numbers (especially when writing documents.) The .5 font sizes work as a global setting and take affect as they should, but they seem to break the NotifyOSD messages. -- notify-osd doesn't support decimal fonts https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/489838 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
