Well... The issue is resolved. I turns out that the, with padevchooser, I went to "Default Server".
"Other was selected". I changed this to "Default", and all was resolved, I could connect to the PA server. I've not idea was is meant by the concept of "Default" and "Other" server (I have not setup 2 server, so not sure why I've been offered 2 options). -> A slightly confusing option imo.
