** Description changed:
Binary package hint: evince
Ubuntu 9.10
evince 2.28.1-0ubuntu1.2
I have checked similar bugs but think that this one hasn't been reported
yet.
When setting the print range to start with an even number (ex: print
pages "2-10" => {2,...,10}) the option "print even/odd pages only"
should in my opinion still refer to the original page numbers (ex: print
- odd pages => {2,4,6,8,10}). In my evince version setting up a page range
- seems to lead to a renumbering of pages, i.e. what used to be the
+ even pages => {2,4,6,8,10}). In my evince version setting up a page
+ range seems to lead to a renumbering of pages, i.e. what used to be the
document page 2 is then treated as page number 1 in the page range. And
this obviously leads to printing the wrong pages when using "odd/even
pages", namely the document pages {3,5,7,9} in the example.
