Public bug reported:
When I click on the Display settings in the KDE System Settings window,
the screen goes black and the X server crashes. The box is still
reachable via SSH, and one can see a kernel oops.
When I add "nomodeset" to the kernel command line, the Display settings
work fine.
This is a duplicate of Bug #477134, but I could not motivate apport to
append the debug data to the existing bug.
