Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. However, a paper cut should be a small usability issue, in the default Ubuntu install, that affects many people and is quick and easy to fix. So this bug can't be addressed as part of this project.
- Adding a keyboard indicator to the default setup would not be ideal , as it would be unnecessary for the majority of the users[who use English setup] and as Sebastien mentions , would only clutter up the interface. Invalid papercut as , papercuts are for the default install. For further information about papercuts criteria, please read https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PaperCut. Don't worry though, this bug has been marked as "Invalid" only in the papercuts project. However , it could be automatically added if the user has chosen a different language during install. Maybe it could be worked in the Ubuntu installer? ** Changed in: hundredpapercuts Status: New => Invalid -- Keyboard Layout Indicator should exist in panel by default https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/391512 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
