I doubt this is a duplicate of bug 455544, as
* Getting a connection is not at issue here. This bug takes effect when
I have a good connection. So the last sentence of your comment is not
relevant.
* I'm aware of bug 455544 and have been applying the fix, deleting the
sync daemon's config file as needed.
* I indicate that this might be related to bug 385511 (both deal with
file metadata). Bug 385511 is not marked as a duplicate of bug 455544.
